NPAS London supports Trooping the Colour
The National Police Air Service (NPAS) London crews were proud to support two of the capital’s biggest events this past weekend - Trooping the Colour 2025 and the Capital Radio Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium.
Supporting Trooping the Colour
On Saturday (14 June), NPAS deployed a crew to assist with Trooping the Colour, providing aerial oversight and coordination in support of the Metropolitan Police Service and other partners. The event, which marks the official birthday of His Majesty The King, drew thousands of spectators to central London and culminated in a spectacular flypast over Buckingham Palace.
Our crew captured stunning aerial images of the event and the flypast.
Keeping watch over Wembley
On Sunday (15 June), NPAS London crews were back in the skies, this time supporting the Capital Radio Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium. With tens of thousands of music fans in attendance, our aircraft provided vital support to ensure the safety and security of the event.
Strategic impact and public engagement
These deployments reflect the agility and professionalism of our London base and demonstrate the critical role NPAS plays in supporting public safety at high-profile events across the UK.
