National Strategic Board | National Police Air Service

The NPAS National Strategic Board is a comprised of a Chief Officer and Police and Crime Commissioner for each of the six National Police Air Service (NPAS regions), a representative of the Home Secretary and the National Business Area Lead for Police Aviation. The Board’s primary focus is to hold the lead force to account, agree the operational model for NPAS each year and for setting the budget from which the model must be delivered.

South east: PCC Anthony Stansfeld, Thames Valley and ACC Dave Miller, Sussex
Central: PCC John Campion, West Mercia and DCC Rob Nixon, Leicestershire
North west: PCC Peter McCall, Cumbria and CC Darren Martland, Cheshire
North east: PCC Barry Coppinger, Cleveland and CC Steve Watson, South Yorkshire
